Cleaning Frog Mats

How do you clean your frog mats? We soaked in soapy water. Used a brush and tore one. Oops. I guess that's not the best way.

I soak, use a scubbie sponge to knock off the big chunks and into the dishwasher it goes.

Yes the dishwasher works excellent for cleaning the frog mats.

Hot water spray, dish soap, gentle scrub with scrubby sponge, hot water spray to rinse, back onto the frog mat shelf.

Although, if you don't have a dishwasher that has the "disposer" feature, you may want to think twice about using that appliance. The little smoked bits may end up back on your dishes, and I can attest to the fact that it does NOT Make the Mrs happy.

I usually hose mine off with the water hose before I bring them in the house, then they go in the dishwasher.
