Cold smoking on Bob Grillson

Finally starting to play with Bob Grillson. Rick had mentioned he uses an 18" pellet tube in his Mak 2 Star with the grill off to smoke his cheese. That gave me an idea to do the same with my Bob Grillson pellet grill. I lit the 18" pellet tube and placed it in the ash drawer which held the tube nicely. The cheese is smoking away and will be for many hours to come. When I opened the grill there is a nice amount of hickory smoke with what appears to be very little heat. I guess I will go get my thermometer to see how much or little heat there is. Can't wait to see if there is any noticeable taste difference between smoking cheese in the cold smoking box with Mak on vs Bob Grillson and the Pellet tube. I know the Mak smokes some pretty awesome cheese.
