When I cooked ribs, butt and briskets in my Greeneggs I always had a drip pan that I filled with juices. So I was wondering how one does it in the MAK two star as there does not appears to be sufficient room.
I think your talking about grease drippings capacity. The grease is diverted out of the MAK and into a bucket, it is plenty big enough to not overflow during a long smoke.
Although the pan did catch the grease I also used the pan to hold juices when I was cooking. So maybe I will put a small aluminum pan on the top rack with juice. As I am still new at using the 2 Star it is possible I do not even need to use juice while cooking.
I never catch and hold the drippings while cooking but you certainly can if you like. Maybe try without first to see if it makes a difference to you now that your cooking with pellets.
