I put my racks, grill grates and flame zones in the self cleaning oven after every 2 cooks. I'm with ya guy's! I look at it this way, would you let the oven in your home look like some grills I see? What's the difference. A new Mak 2 Star is $2200, my double convection oven in my home was about $2500. Why would I treat one any different than the other. I'm just sayin.That reminds me, I need to clean a couple of things. Full flame pan, 1 regular rack and 2 grill grates into the oven to self clean, easy peasy!
Don't get me wrong they do not look new, but rinse them with hot water and wipe with a damp sponge and no crude left.
