I don't use it on any beef or pork. I tend to like a "heavier" style rub on them. I do use it on veggies, chicken, and fish. I think it shines on veggies the best.
Its my favorite!! Like Trent said it is great on eggs...so far of the friends and family I have given BPS products too its the one they all talk about.
I would rate desert gold at the top. I use it a lot more than I use your other seasonings. It's perfect for rubbing on turkey before you smoke it. I use it on almost everything.
Thanks for the heads up on the eggs Kristen..I'm going to try that!
its my #1 rub for fish, shrimp, veges. i use it more than my other rubs that BPS sells. love the DDSR on tri's and steak. LL w/P is my #1 rub for sparky's signature ribs. the desert gold is the bomb (according to my kids, still don't know what the bomb is?).
My number one seasoning for spatchcock chicken without a doubt. Used it on some MAK'ed potatoes too with some garlic olive oil. Not one I can allow myself to run out of.
Probably the least used BPS spice I own but I figure its because I never prep the veggies. Mrs scooter does it and I never remember to pull it out and put it in front of her when she's prepping. I'm usually too focused on the meat to pay attention to what's going on in the kitchen. Will have to remember it next time.
Personally, i love it. Used it on Chicken a lot...and of course veggies. I like it because its not too hot tasting, but gives a nice flavor to food in general. My family does not like hot spices (i do like moderate to hot spices). Gotta fix food my family eats. =)
