Desert Gold

I ordered Big Poppa's rub pack along with some other goodies. Last night I cut up some potatoes and tossed them with Desert Gold and olive oil and roasted them in the oven. They were excellent! Can't wait for it to warm up a bit so I can try out some of the others on the grill!

The Jallelujah Bacon Jalapeno Rub tastes great! Any ideas on how to use it?

OOOOH, I love Desert Gold. On eggs too.

Jallelujah is great on chicken and pork. That's what I have used it for so far. Oh, and Mac & Cheese

Pork chops, pork loin, scalloped potatoes, and ABTs are the highlights so far. The list is growing. The maple component doesn't go with everything so I've been a little slower in hauling it out but still experimenting.

Desert Gold on the other hand is one of my "if you were stuck on an island and could only take 3 rubs with you" type of rubs. It would be one of the three. It's a hardworking utility rub that goes on veggies and meats alike!

BP, what made you think of adding the sesame seeds?

I have the Jallelujah Bacon Jalapeno Rub tried it on some tri tip not to bad, I need to pick me up some Desert Gold!
