Edit Avatar not showing in my profile

I've tried clicking on my profile and just clicking on my user id at the top but no matter which there doesn't seem to be a way to add an avatar. Surely there's a way????

Your profile is what others see about you. You can find your account settings, including "Edit Avatar", under "Forum Actions", "General Settings".

Well it gets me half there. Tried to upload a 80x80 jpg (only 6kb) file and I get an unable to save message.
