Haven't been able to cook much this year. Finally had some time off so decided to do something real good. Not much creativity here, just the MAK 2 Star and a bunch of real good ingredients.
Started with some smallish potatoes to bake on the MAK (no foil, love it this way). Seasoned with EVOO and salt:
On top shelf of the MAK:
Wrapped some Costco filets with bacon and seasoned with BPS Double Secret:
Split some lobster tails and seasoned with EVOO, lime juice, and BPS Desert Gold:
Put the bacon wrapped filets on the grill grates over the flame zone:
Filets, Lobster, Baked Potatoes, and Asparagus all joining the party:
Steaks done and finishing the rest of the group:
All plated up:
No picture, but steak cooked perfect. Rare side of medium rare. Had to put wife's back on the MAK
Oh well. Great meal overall. Great to be back using the MAK!
