First cook on the MAK... FINALLY!

OK, If you think waiting for your new pellet grill to arrive is hard... try having a new MAK sitting in your garage for a whole week and you can't use it because you're in bed with Strep Throat, & a sinus infection.

Well, I may not be feeling 100%, but I'm feeling pretty good, because I'm firing that baby up TONIGHT!!!

So, what to cook for it's maiden voyage?

The Mrs. picked up some Tri-tips because that's what she wants. Then I said, "But Sweety, Sparky says I have to cook Bacon or a Fattie first; it's tradition."

Then she... I mean IT, hit me, "Hmmm, I could cook bacon on the side to go on some potatoes, and cook the tri-tips."

Wa-la! Mrs. TentHunter and Sparky can both be happy AND I get to fire up the MAK! ;)

Life is good!

Pics to come later.

Cliff - Feel better soon!

"But Sweety, Sparky says I have to cook Bacon or a Fattie first; it's tradition."

It didn't say anything in my MAK manual about that....

Around here it's rib-eyes first on a new grill. Not really a tradition, although it is becoming one, more driven out of hunger than tradition. I did start my last three grills with them.

Alright Tent! Congrats on firing that sucker up! Can't wait to see the pics. (not to worry about Sparky, I'm pretty sure that was the MAK2 manual.)
