Flame zone Design

Hi Folks
I,m Johnny O and not yet a pellet smoker but have been recently introduced to it. I use charcoal weber kettle grills modified into vertical water smokers. I work as a machinist and fabricate these grills myself and really enjoy cooking on them. It,s this experience that prompted a friend to approach me about an idea he has to modify his Mak Grill similar to the flame zone design. I am wondering if any of you folks out there with the flame zone rack could supply me with the size of the holes and mounds used in the board. I appreciate any help.
Thanks
Johnny O

I will tell you as one who test the beta units for MAK. It is no where as easy as the hole size and mounds. My suggestion is your friend buy the flame zone and save your skills for something cool and different. Trust me on this.
