Oak is my favorite and used most the time. Like Scooter and BP have voiced. Not a lot of taste difference for me. I will use Cherry only because it colors the meat more then others. My next order from Big Poppas will be only oak and a little cherry. No Cherry on poultry. Don't need any pink color added.great for smoke rings on brisket or pork.I don't see many people using Oak. I have a bag but never used any. It's pretty mild from what I read, correct?
