For those that compete......

Do you get burned out eating Ribs, Pork, Brisket and Chicken by the end of the season?

I would think if you loved doing it it never gets old, but that's just a guess. I could also see where the last thing you want to see after a while is a rib as well.

I have heard stories of a few folks who compete and judge Q that don't like the food all that much, seems like it would be hard to be successful and really not love it.

Just curious.

Once you are cooking it and eating it every weekend, it is hard to get excited about it. You have had it the same so many times.... Now experimenting is still fun, but I can tell you by May, my girls are done with ribs and chicken for the year.... They like Pork and Brisket until June/July.... but by summer, no one wants to eat it.

Kinda like the mechanic that doesnt work on his own car, right? You do it so much, you don't want to work on your own.
