well, came home after a 10 hour day and my wife, daughter, her boyfriend and my son were hungry. lol, like i cared. well, apparently i was wrong. my wife told me to make some dinner for everyone. okie dokie. where is my FT. out to the back yard to fire up 3 grills.
cut up some potatoes, jalapeno, onions and garlic. threw down some evoo, desert gold and some soileaus.
corn. used the same rubs w/ butter.
found some tri tips. the one on the right i used cherry balsamic w/ desert gold (i called kristen the other day and this one was her recipe). the left one was kirkland rub.
seared the costco tri tip and then separated the charcoal and cooked it indirect (cant wait until i get my hasty bake).
the other one onto #336 @ 325°.
potatoes and corn on #63 @ 400°.
oh, smoke (i used a foil packet of apple pellets).
the costco weber tri tip was done. the mak tri tip hit 125° so i threw it on the weber to give it a good sear.
ok dinner is served (under 1 1/2 hours from the start of it). 2 different tri tips, corn, potatoes w/ stuff and apple pie.
this is my plate. i dusted everything w/ LL w/ P. yummy stuff manard.... i must say i even impressed myself. it was very good.
.
the end.....
