Friday night Rib eye's

So I figure if Sparky can have his rib quest I'm going on my own steak quest!!
Found a new butcher.. got a little friendly and ended up with this fresh cut rib eye.. next time I will as k for 1" and 1/2.

Wanted to try something new.. hit it with some garlic evoo and 3 eyezy's and let it sit for a bit.. looking good!

Smoked for 30 mins. then pulled and cranked the old Traeger to high..

looking good...some simple shrooms and plated up..

Wowsers that looks beautiful! What a gorgeous before pic showing splendid marbling. The sugars and paprika in the rub helped with the browning I would think. Looks fantastic scallywag.
