GMG Jim Bowie Pellet Smoker

Hi All.

I have a GMG Jim Bowie pellet smoker. I was wondering if anyone with this smoker has had trouble getting the temperature gauge to match the digital temperature on the hopper. For example, I will set the digital temp on the hopper at 250 but the temp gauge on the lid will read 195. Is there any way to adjust this? I have moved the heat shield and even contacted GMG directly but the issue has not be resolved. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to the forum!

Forget trying to get them to Match. They are readings from two different areas of the grill. I would just ignore the thermometer on the lid.
