Help! Pecan For Pork Butts??

The only hickory I have is Traeger and I read it's not the best pellets out there. I have some BBQ Delight Pecan, Apple, and Oak and was thinking pecan would be interesting for a couple of Butts.

Thoughts?

There are a number of those evil stick burners who use pecan in competition. It does tend to be on the light side, as STC said. If you are interested in taking it in another direction, head to black walnut. Thgis is more like Hickory Heavy. I just did a butt several weeks ago using black walnut. Really nice flavor profile in the finished product. I'll do that one again.
