Hi, my name is Bearfoot and I am a new smoker/Pellet person

I got tired of trying to make my real nice grill into a smoker, so I finally convinced my wife that we needed one.

We have one of those less expensive pellet smokers from Lowes.

I have some questions, but, due to the sponsor, I am not sure if this is the best place to ask.

I need to find pellets that are not from Chargriller (Lowes) or Traeger (some kind of wood with added oils).

I will add that I live in the extreme SW US. You can't get much more S and W in North America, than where we live.
