Hooked!

I had never heard of a pellet smoker until about a month ago. I was researching off-set firebox smokers & they came up. My wife & son got me a Traeger Jr. Elite, yes, I know it's the bottom end of the spectrum, needless to say, I'm hooked! This little smoker ran for 24 hours on its first cook. Haven't had any issues so far. I will be investing in bigger & better pellet smoker in the future, I really like the looks of the yoders,but for an entry level,first pellet smoker, I have no complaints.

Please...no apologies for a Traeger If it wasnt for a traeger I would never have started all of the whole Big Poppa's and the forums that we have. the traeger got me started and I cooked some great food on it.

I too started out on a Traeger and learned much with its use. I just recently sold it to a friend who wanted to get into smoking meat so he is off and running. I enjoyed the Traeger and when it came time for me to move on I did so with no regrets. Enjoy your Traeger.
