Hot and Fast Ribs with Amaze-N Tube Smoker

I love my Mak 2 Star so far, and I believe that I do get enough smoke at 250-275. I am going to try H&F ribs today but to add more smoke at the 300 temp for the first 1.5 hours I am going to try to use the Amaze-N tube smoker. Has anyone else done this? Plus I am going to use Hickory in the hopper and Apple in the tube. Lets see.

I have difficulty seeing that some smoldering pellets will add much flavor when the induction fan is running full blast. Maybe 3 or 4 tubes running at the same time burning at both ends would produce a notable difference in smoke flavor at 300+ pit temps.

I would totally agree with Scooter, I usually get better results with Mak being off and just using the grill as a cold smoker with the Amaze-n-Tube.
