I am so excited to be heading to Houston on Thursday for the big event! There are just a handful of yearly BBQ "majors" -- Memphis in May, the American Royal, the Jack, HLSR and the Best of the Best in GA -- the first 3 I know but I've never been to Houston or to Georgia (but it's the latest of them all). I'll not be cooking, but I will be hanging at Holy Cow Cookers and I've heard tell of a number of friends cooking under a variety of teams not necessarily their own. Great time in Houston! Motley Que won it on a borrowed Traeger with some pellets from Arkansas. Mighty pretty chicken!
