How many pork butts per person?

I would think about 2 but this will also depend on the size of the pork butt.

Two large butts (no more than 18 - 20 lbs total) will be more than enough.
Whenever I plan a large cookout, parties etc. if it's the only meat, then I count on 1/2 lb per person (pre-cooked & bone-in weight) and always have left over. If there will be other meats or main dishes then 1/3 lb per person is plenty.
