I had to cook on a gas grill last night

OK I wasnt planning on it...I was minding my own business with Little Louie out for a quick bite when a buddy said "I know its late..but Im cooking chicken come on over" I said we just ate but we would stop by.

Enter BBQ Paramedic Big Poppa with some rescue 911...he has these thighs right out of the fridge onto a nuclear heat and it looked like someone poured gas on the bbq. I quickly grabbed the tongs and got things in order.....It came out pretty good but I was just saying..."for years I did this and thought it was a good result"

What a pain in the thigh to have to juggle and fight the heat zones and flare ups.....

We need to remind ourselves just how great Pellet cooking is....just go to a friends and save his dinner on his gasser

That's why I can't stand cooking out over at my mom's house (she and my brother have a Gasser). I'd rather cook it all here, Foil (or cover) and load it all in the cooler, in between layers of towels to stay hot and transport it.

Pellets end up being less expensive than LP gas too!

Used my gas grill the other night because I didn't want to run an extension cord for the MAK. I now run the extension cord out through the window. (Need to get an outside outlet on the deck).
