I need to rebuild a traeger...

Here is the story.... Traeger sent me a completely new smoker, due to a paint problem on my existing smoker. Very good customer service, as I did not contact them with the problem, they contacted me, like a recall situation. Anyway, the way this worked, is they sent me the new one and then sent me packaging to return the hopper/auger/pot assay from the old smoker back to them. I sent that, and now I have this extra unit without a hopper/auger/pot..... I want to find another alternative to hook up to this thing.... Any ideas?

Did you happen to ask Traeger what their price is to buy the hopper, auger cover, etc. from them? I went through sort of the same thing -- basically rebuilt a Traeger via a bunch of warranty parts and now have the old smoker laying around but none of the hopper/auger/fire pot parts. I know they sell the whole hopper unit because I had tried calling about getting just the auger cover at one point and they said they only sell it as part of an entire hopper replacement. I've gotten a couple other replacement parts from them at various times for another smoker and the cost was always less than I was expecting when I called them. I've thougt about checking on new hooper/fire pot/auger assemby as well, just haven't had time to pull the trigger on that project.
