I like the cleanliness of the wiring of MAK 2 Star # 590, but I thought it was a bitch to pull out the auger to clear out a jam. I can't remember what wire was kind of making it difficult. It was something I couldn't easily unplug. If there were some way to untether that whole assembly so that the auger would be easier to remove, that would be cool.

Mak 2 Star. Inside lights! With all the angles there is no place for a clamp on. Magnetic wont work on stainless.

My request would be a different "lid" for the 2 star so that it does not vent the smoke directly into my eyes when open to turn food. If the current position is 12:00, probably about 10:00 would do.

And miss the smoke sauna? Never! Besides with the upper rack that wouldnt work. But if they put a sloped stop at 10 and a fixed stop at 12 that might work.

I have MAK 1 Star...hmmm <---thats me thinking (pretty scary huh?) I would love to have something to wrap the chord around when its unplugged and not in use. A pellet dump would be nice because I sometimes go a while in between cooks. Wifi w/ an ap on my phone would be a luxury for me. I'd rather go outside and check temps myself. Last on my wish list would be a way for my dog NOT to steal the drip bucket. I usually place bucket inside cooker as it cools, but sometimes im just not fast enough.

what do you do when it's on? I have a wall of pellet buckets guarding mine, it's not very attractive
