Actually Deb i was not entirely truthful in my previous statement....i Place a glass jar inside my drip bucket to catch the grease and i usually find it lying in the yard a few days later. Luckily my dog doesnt bother it while the cooker is on, only after.
Lights would be my number one "want" for my two star. Just a steel plate or bracket on each side of the grill that a magnet would stick to would be great.
Along with WiFi or an RF remote at a reasonable cost, it would be nice to have control of the smoking temp between 150 to 200. Also, more certain high temps from 400 to 500 for MAK 2, rather than having to use different pellets to hopefully achieve the desired temps. Good lid seal?
norcal the lid seal is great on the mak...the smoking temps are great...unless you are cold smoking it is rock solid and 200 and above....for cold smoking the warming drawer is great. the wifi and bluetooth are coming....your dealer should know most of these questions.
