I'm interested in finding a smoker to get into pellet smoking

I'm on a Mission from God! I want to get an Electric Smoker and was recently convinced that a pellet smoker was the way to go. So, I'm exploring all the brands and types of Pellet Smokers out there. Can you steer me to the best web sites and sources as well as brands out there? I'd like to stay under $300 if possible.

Well, you might need some Divine Intervention to find one under 300 bucks!

If you cruise Craiglist and the like, you might be able to find a Traeger Junior in that price range. A used Traeger Lil Tex might be found for $500 or so. After that, you are looking at 1000+. (and entering new MAK 1 Star or Memphis Select land)

You can buy a new Traeger Junior through Costco for $299, but would have to find a store hosting a Traeger Road Show. I love mine!

I got my Traeger Jr. off ebay, there is a guy who posts an auction for one everyday. I got mine for $300, I have seen them go from $269 up to $385 depending on how many are bidding. This may be your best bet to stay around $300

Ya get what you pay for...Get a grill you can use for years and call Big Poppas Smokers and order you a Mak 1 Star. You won't regret it!
