I just got my smoker/grill and need to get my feet wet. What are some good suggestions for a novice smoker? I love ribs, but have epic fails everytime I try to make them. Any advice out there?

phughQ: Talk / see Sparky he always has the best looking ribs in here IMO anyway. Also check out Big Poppa cooking video's very informative and some great recipes..
