keeping track of my pellets

I had some tags made so I could keep track of the pellets in the hopper
and in the storage bins. I bought them online for under 15 dollars for all of them.

Restaurant supply places are great for everything. Just ordered some 22 quart Cambrio containers to store my pellets. I like that I can also use them for brining food as they are large. According to my math the 22 quart will hold a 40 pound bag.

my 10 gallon can (40 quarts) holds a 40 pound bag as shown above, 22 quart container should be too small.

Hmmmmm.......math is not close to my strong suit. But I got the dimensions for the pellet containers that Mak sells and they are19.5 X 16 X 6, and they said they hold a 40 pound bag. So something isn't adding up. The containers I ordered are 11.25 x 12.25 x 13.75. So basically at this point I have no idea. Will wait for delivery and see. But as with all things math for me, I suspect you are right.

Well they arrived, and you are correct they do not hold 40 pounds. I would say the most they will hold is 33-36 pounds. Math is hard, but I am going to keep them as I like the quality and they are close enough.
