First the King of the Smoker hats are form fit flex fit hats. No Velcro to catch in a hooded jacket etc. So I decided it would be the hat to wear today.
A little back ground: had pneumonia in November. Anyway fast forward had ct scan last week and went to see a lung specialist this week to read the CT scan. He walks in introduces himself and comments on the hat. He said most wouldn't wear a King of the Smoker hat to see a lung doctor. So we had the discussion on how it was a BBQ contest and that we went last week. I had listed BBQ as one of my hobbies along with fishing,photography and shooting sporting clays. So once explained we had a good chuckle over it all.
