I know you will get lots of advice towards a MAK, Yoder or Memphis from most folks here. I have a Traeger lil' Tex elite and it has been great for me. Sadly I don't know the other grill you are looking at so my advice might not be worth a whole lot. From what I have read if you can afford a Mak Memphis or Yoder you should go for it, but a Traeger is a decent entry level rig. I hope that is of some help.

I know very little about either of those grills. Like Soupy mentioned, if you can swing one of the others you won't regret it.

Personally I think the versatility of the MAK's are awful hard to beat. That's what ultimately sold us on the MAK. The quality & customer service is also second none!

Between Traeger and CS450 - you will like the CS better. The CS controller runs better, and in general, the grills are built a little better.
Bigger firepot, thicker metal, better cart.... They will also cook hotter, so you can actually grill on one. Crank it to high and you will get 600+ no problem. (You will also eat through a couple pounds an hour on pellets too).

I ran the Country Smokers up until I swapped over to Yoders this year - like them much better than the traegers.
