Mak 2 star #1235 seasoning in progress!!!

I m so excited to get "SMOKIN"!! just how long should it take to get temp. to 450f for seasoning? been running 35 minutes and still not there. HELP

Congratulations be sure if the temp on the controller is still flashing you need to push the middle button to enter the new temp.

It depends a lot on the ambient temp. If the temp is cold outside, it could take a while.

i think it was the pellets??? i changed them and restarted pb and did better. thanx for the help Rick and everyone else! gonna throw on some pig candy so i dont have the juju thing happen. have a good day!!

When you first fire up the MAK there are no pellets in the auger tube so it will take approx 15 minutes just to light then move toward your set temp. After that it will be much faster (unless you run out of pellets .
