Hi guys. I've been a lurker for about a month and decided to go for it. The wife isn't thrilled but I promised her great food. Will keep in touch whem the grill is received. This is a great forum, even though you didn't realize it you were all giving me great advice. Thanks.

Mark, Welcome from N.E. Ohio.

One of two things will happen:

1) Your wife will love the fact that you will be doing more cooking, and will have a fine pellet grill to thank for it. or...

2) Your wife will use it herself and fall in love with its many features and how easy it is to use!

Either way it's a win/win for both of you; she just doesn't know it yet! ;)

welcome to the fam. buy lots of meat, pellets and stretchy pants (your need them, i like elastic :)). let us know what serial number you get. get some frogmats so you can make pig candy.

Mark - my wife has been looking at me with one of those "are you sure you know what you are doing" looks since I started learning about pellet grills. We got our Memphis Pro this past Thursday. She sat and watched me unpack and put it together with the same little smile on her face. Today I did my first cook and it wiped that little smile right off her face. We worked together and made a fattie.. and I think she ate more of it than I did! She wants to know what is next.. the food was great, but more important, it was just a lot of fun.
