Looking to smoke Jerky low and slow. When i cooked on my Traeger (Which just died) I set it on "Smoke", and let it go for 4 hours. I want to do the same on my new smoker. I can spend up to $2000. Which is better?

Personal preference and backed by a ton of successful cooks in the backyard and on the comp circuit Mak for me all day long Much more options and has many more features and expandability Also the only controller designed for the grill ground up and not a third party adapted to a stickburner style

I have a good friend who owned both. He owned a Yoder, then after he purchased a MAK 2 Star, he liked it so much better that he eventually sold his Yoder.

My own personal experience with MAK has been nothing less than stellar! I love the versatility which is second to none!
