Just a heads up. We have two MAK grills both with WiFi. During this holiday season (Starting first week in November)We have used the MAK Grills with the WiFi with no issues that were not user error. Before that had some issues which all went away when we changed our WiFi router in the house. The router I found out would drop connection. I would suggest if your having issues to suspect the WiFi the MAK is trying to connect to and not so much the grill. Just for reference we have both style of controllers between the two MAK Grills.
With the new router it is so sweet to have the WiFi. When guest are over I love showing them the grills on the iPad running and the chart of how the cook is coming along.
If we ever get cold weather I know we will appreciate it even more. Don't hate us when you watch the Rose Parade or Rose Bowl tomorrow and see why we BBQ year round in shorts!
