Hello. My Name is Kevin and I am a Pellet smoker.
I have a 2 year old Rec Tec, that we use at least twice a week. Its been an awesome machine.

I live in Minnesota and smoke all year around even in the -20F Weather.

Looking forward to getting to know you'all.

Well, we moved from Seattle to MN more out of necessity than choice. We have a young family, and the extended family is all in the Midwest. We wanted our kids to grow up with family near by... However once the kids are out of High School we are headed for warmer sunnier climates.

Cooking in -20 isn't so bad. Gives someone something to do. For me the Cabin fever hits around February, Hobbies are key to maintain sanity. MN is also a cheaper place to live, with most things. Interestingly enough, food and childcare is more expensive in MN than Seattle.

Here is the Tri tip I did last weekend.
