I'm Dan and from Southern Wisconsin. Been smoking for years and years now, but just recently (about 3 weeks ago) purchased a GMG Daniel Boone. All I gotta say is, where have you been all my life!! I love this unit.

Welcome, Dan! Just got my Daniel Boone a few weeks ago as well. You're in for some good times, and good food!

Pauly...well I'm breakin her in quickly...I've done buffalo wings, hamburgers, seared a few tbone steaks, and for fathers day, I did 5 FULL racks of ribs(low and slow)...Man they turned out great. I got the remote control unit on mine, and I LOVE controlling the temps and checking temps inside my air conditioned home. LOVE IT

That's great! I tried - and failed - to do some ribs, will try again later. Making another of my "bacon explosion New Mexicaine" on it for dinner w/ company tonight.
