My name is donnie and I just ordered a pellet grill

I already have a bradley smoker and my gas grill is about to kick the bucket and decided it was time to upgrade heard great things about pellet grills ordered a Traeger junior elit with digital control.

My question is what do I need to know

a Lot of us started or own a Traeger. We had a Jr like you are getting. I double walled it and made a 1/4 insert for the drip try to even out temps. Also had a added top rack in it.It was a good unit that we used camping a lot. A friend has it now and is enjoying pellet cooking. Later on you will long for more space. Our Pellet Grills are MAK 2 Stars which we got from Big Poppa Smokers.

Started with a Trager and then graduated to a MAK 2 Star. Never looked back. Traeger is a great learning platform but once you get it and learn the basics, you will want to move on to an appliance with more capability. Can't go wrong with a MAK! Happy smoking.......
