OK to be honest, new pellet smoker; just picked up my Daniel Boone by GMG yesterday. Finished putting it together at dusk, and got the initial burn in done by 9:30 PM.
I won't be able to get the first real cook done until this weekend. Anyone have a opinion what the initial first cook should be; what cut of meat? Trying to avoid a major disappointment so looking for somthing fairly bullet proof. Need to make the wife think this was a good idea, she saw all the smoke from the initial burn-in and got scared that this would be what she would see and smell everytime we crank it up.
