Greetings everyone. A month into this method of cooking and to say it has upped my game is an understatement if ever there was....My cooker is the Memphis Elite...have done Pizza at 700°, "5 hour" stuffed chickens cooked breast side down at 250°, and from the included pic of some leftovers, you can see that I've nailed my very first "smoke ring" from baby backs that cooked at 225°. I'm hooked big time and there is no turning back....happy to have just said that.

I've seen a Memphis Elite in action and it's a beast of a grill, and beautiful to look at to boot! We live for pics around here, so be sure to post lots of them while cooking on your new Elite!

Will do! Don't know from art, but for some kooky reason, pictures of food gives me that same "art appreciation".

Funny you should bring that up. Yesterday was the first time I read the directions on how to use it. My outdoor arsenal used to be my AmeriQue for low and slow smoking, and my Solaire infrared grill for steaks and burgers. Sold both units to pay for my Elite, and this is now my one and only cooker. I've been socking away bucks thinking that eventually I will get a smaller gas infrared grill. Now I'm thinking that before I do anything, I need to discover this flame zone. I'll be doing burgers this week, and am pretty excited.

Jeff, I'm right with you on the new Memphis...just got mine in December. I've smoked a few things now, but have yet to grill anything on it yet. Let me know how it goes for you!
