Hi. I"m Jim, AKA KristenzPoppa--my daughter, Kristen works for Big Poppa. I got a Big Poppa's drum smoker for Christmas and have already used it several times-and everything was wonderful! Kris told me the "cooks" would be better if I added pellets, so I tried it and she is right! I have done chicken, ribs, steak and pork chops and all are have better flavor with a tinfoil "bag" of wood pellets on top of the hot coals.

So far he (we) have only used the Mulberry. Though with the success he is having I am sure he will branch out and try some more!

I just started using them-my first was Mulberry. I'm going to get Hickory and Mesquite from Big Poppa's soon.
