I was lucky enough to purchase a used Traeger lil tex a month or so ago. The smoker is an American made one so the quality is excellent. The guy I bought it from took real good care of it and now it is my turn to enjoy the excellent taste of some good smoking. I did upgrade the control to a digital contol I bough on Ebay and what a great improvement this upgrade made. So far I have cooked a couple of tri- tips and briskets and even smoked a chicken, all came out good but I really have a lot to learn. Tonight I bought an really nice rib roast at the supermarket but I am at a loss to what to do with it. It is just a small 3 lb roast since this is just for me and the wife with a leftover meal during the week. Any suggestions would be grealty appreciated. I look foward to some good ideas from this forum as I get more into my smoking hobby. Thanks
