Hey guys, my name is Steve. I have been trying to get into to smoking on and off for a bunch of years, starting wit a cheap walmart vertical gas smoker that was crappy.. then I gave up on it for a few years. Then this spring Costco had a Traeger road show, so I figured why not! It has been working out fairly well.. definite ease of use here.. although I do crave more smoke at times. I have been having success with ribs, and just yesterday gave brisket a shot... it was fair.. not very good, but I trimmed all the fat trying to cut down the calories, LOL!
Anyway, great to be here.. Im sure Ill learn a lot

No installation required. Just fill the tube with pellets, place it on the rack in the grill, light the end and let it flame for 5 to 10 minutes, then close the lid and turn on the grill. Or leave the grill off for cold smoking ;)
