My friends call me Leon and i am new to the pellet smoking world. Recently purchased a green mountain daniel boone. After a week of seasoning and burning off the new paint smell, i put this grill through the test of all tests. At 630 pm put on a brisket and pork butt. Pulled both off at 830 am the next morning, put on 2 slabs of ribs. pulled those off at 1230. Put on a pizza and pulled it off at 1. everything came out perfect. Nice smoke ring, tender meat, everything came out better than on my UDS. I am sold on pellet cooking from now on.

Welcome, I really like the GMG. I own a Traeger and love it. the pictures came out a little small but they look great.

thanks for the welcomes. originally from texas i was raised on mesquite bbq, now transplanted to oklahoma, i am a pellet cooker and i am addicted to food and cooking. i orginally built a uds which i am very proud of, but the temps are up and down, and i cant babysit my grills anymore. anyone on here know how to get the pictures to come out bigger, never could figure that out. if this computer smoked meat i would figure it out, but im lazy on the computer. again thanks for the welcome, looking forward to many years of smoking and possibly a few comps along the way.
