New MAK 1 problem

I just received and assembled my new MAK 1 star today, and started the burn in, all seemed fine, then it stalled out at 190. The auger turns on only intermittently and for short bursts, and temp has actually fallen to 180 or 175. Set point is 450 degrees and it has been running for an hour. I emailed MAK but it is after hours and thought maybe someone here would have an idea. Scratched my dinner plans and will shut this down soon. Bummer!

It appears to be operating in smoke mode. Which is a default after a power loss etc. Call MAK and they will help. Hopefully it is something simple..

MAK's customer service is top notch. Give them a call (503) 623-1234

Be sure to press the set button after changing temps or it will default back to smoke.
if that doesn't work give us a call and we will help figure out the issue.
