O.T. - Proud Dad!

Once again my kids have made me a proud dad!

Last week the phone rang and when I answered it one of my son's teachers calling from school. It was a good call! She was calling to let us know what a joy he is to have and all the teachers have recommended him for honors classes.

Two days ago My daughter got a letter/package in the mail. She's been accepted into the All-Ohio State Fair Band, which is quite an honor. The recommendation/selection process is tough and every year they have around 2,000 flute players state-wide that apply and only a handful get selected. She's worked hard for this honor and will be in Columbus for part of her summer performing with them.


I am smiling ear to ear this morning!

She plays flute/piccolo for Marching & Concert Band, and this past year learned to play Alto Saxophone for Jazz Band. My son plays percussion in Marching/Concert Band and drum set in Jazz Band.
