a forum member friend of mine makes his own rubs. he sent me some. and away we go.

test pieces. had to make sure it wasnt poison.

it was very good. this pb of bacon only lasted for 5 minutes. its was good.

As much as I love bacon, you'd think I'd have tried making pig candy by now, but I haven't.

I have some really nice jowl bacon in the fridge and Sparky, I think you've inspired me!
