Played with some ribs today

Chili Head

Vacations are awesome aren't they? I played golf today and on the way home I stopped and picked up some ribs to mess with.
I cut the slab in half and used the tips too. One half slab got rubbed with money while the other half got a smoke rub from Hawaii. The tips got some head country. I used garlic balsamic on everything too.

I used mikes hot honey, parkay and brown sugar on one half and brown sugar and parkay on the other half with money. The tips got
Buffalo'd.

Out of the foil and ready for the sauce. For the sauce I used 1/3 blues hog 1/3 water and 1/3 apple cider vinegar.

This is the first time I've used honey or brown sugar on my ribs. I liked the ribs with honey but I'm not crazy about them. The ribs that just got money, brown sugar and butter were really good! I'll be playing with this combo again with a different sauce. I'm going to start making my own I think or at least give it a try. The buffalo ribs were good as usual but franks hot buffalo is way better than Louisiana sauce in my opinion.

Nice Chili

I have stopped using the hot honey for foil love- i think it gets lost. I'm using it more as a finishing honey. I made pizza the other night and it is so good with pepperoni or salami.

Was Sparky a consultant to you on your ribs? They definitely have that Sparky-look to them. I'll bet they were Sparky-tasting good, too.
