Have just switched to a PG from my old brinkman propane smoker. Results are soso for now, I don't seem to get as much smoke on the meat as with the brinkman and the temp variation on the digi therm seems to fluxuate more than my other. I run an additional temp gage on opposite end of the grill and it's seems to be 10-15 degrees cooler than the digi gage. It's a Traeger lil tx. Lookin for any ideas and help.

Welcome to PS.com. I started with a Lil Tex also. Pellet cookers put a light smoke profile on meats. It's the induction fan blowing smoke out and the fact that pellet cookers just burn more efficiently. The upside is the convenience of set it and walk away and the fact that you'll never over smoke anything on a pellet cooker.
There are ways to increase the smoke profile through utilizing the smoke setting and/or smoke generators like a Smoke Daddy or Amazn smoker.

Welcome from NorCal! I use an Amazn tube smoker from BPS and it works well at adding more smoke. Don't use it often as I like the light smoke from a pellet smoker. I do use it when cooking brisket, pork butt, and occasionally ribs.
