Pretty good Easter dinner/no pics

I'm gonna have to get my son to come over and show me how to use the camera again. When I take a pic, and hook it up to my computer it goes through a bunch of stuff before I can see the pics, then they come up in a random order, so I can't just go to the end to find my new ones. Sorry, but it's not worth the hassle. I'm a techno dumb*** ok.

I started on Sat morning with a 9+ lb pork butt that I had injected the night before with Wild Turkey American Honey mixed with Schultzes bbq rub from Costco. I also placed on 4 racks about 3 1/2 lbs each of St louis style pork ribs which were also dowsed the night before with the bourbon and same rub. I put them on at 9am on smoke using bbqs delight oak pellets for 3 hours. About every 45 min I would spray them with warmed apple juice. I have never wrapped ribs before, so this time after 3 hours I sprayed the ribs with apple juice and sprinkled more rub and put a big handful of brown sugar on them and wrapped them with a couple of shots of the sweet bourbon. 2 hours later I unwrapped the ribs and sauced them and turned up the heat and cooked them for about another hour saucing a couple more times. I wrapped the pork butt at 160 using the apple juice and more brown sugar. It finished, 195deg at 7:30pm. I put it in a cooler and shredded it at 9:30. No need to add any more juice, it had more than enough, in fact I drained a lot, and didn't have to re add any.

While the meat was going, I did a bunch of yard work. It's been real warm lately, and made a big pot of baked beans, tater salad, cole slaw. On Sun morning I made a couple dozen jalapeno poppers, no more so some of the other food would get eaten. At noon on Easter, I placed the meat on my kingfisher and set it to 225, and at 12:30 I started the poppers on the Traegar. Family started showing up at 12:30, dinner was just after 2 and almost everyone was stuffed. The young grandkids are picky eaters, so they watched the rest of us. They had a good time playing in the yard and with the dogs. I'd like to thank my Sweetie for doing a great job on the house after I destroyed it cooking and her daughter for helping out, and bringing all the extras that she's so good at. I inhaled her deviled eggs.

We even supplied some leftovers so I'm hoping it was as good as they said it was. I'm not sold on the wrapped ribs. While they were good, I never had a problem with them not being wrapped.

Thanks everyone for your tips to the new guy. I appreciate it. This was my first time using an injector that I got from BP and some frog mats, and the BBQ'ers delight pellets.
