I was walking through the garage earlier today and as I went by the shelves where I store all the BBQ gear I heard the MAK Sear grate shout out "wheres the love? I see how it is you like griddle better!" Went to the store to see what I could do for searing grate and found wild fresh scallops. So here we go-
Wrapped scallops in prosciutto and dusted with some yardbird
On the sear grate @400 with some asparagus
Hit the scallops for 90 sec. a side, and brushed with garlic butter. While the asparagus cooked, set the scallops to the indirect side for about 10 minutes.
Ready to go, wife made up some risotto with mushrooms to go with the asparagus and scallops.
Stole this recipe from BP and it came out great, sear grate was happy, momma was happy and by default daddy was happy!
